This privacy policy describes how the Remote Scanner app (“the App”) handles information when you use it. The app is developed by linecode.pro.
2. Data collection and storage
We do not collect, store, or share any personal or user data with third parties.
- The app does not require registration and does not create user accounts.
- We do not store scan history, photos, contacts, location, or any other user data on our servers or in the app for analytics or marketing.
- Scanned barcode data is sent only to the device or application specified by the user (e.g., their computer with the Remote Scanner for Windows app installed) and is not stored by us.
3. App permissions
The app may request the following permissions:
- Camera — only for scanning barcodes. Camera images are processed locally on the device and are not sent to our servers.
- Internet / network access — to send scanned data to the device chosen by the user (e.g., a PC with the Windows app). Data is sent according to the user’s settings.
- Vibration — for haptic feedback on successful scan (optional).
These permissions are not used to collect personal data.
4. Third-party services
The app may use messaging infrastructure (e.g., to deliver data from the phone to the user’s PC). Only technical identifiers set by the user are involved in such transmission; we do not use them to identify the user and do not store them in connection with any personal data.
5. Children
The app is not intended to collect information from children. We do not store personal data of users of any age.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
